Where we are

This website was rebuilt in 2026. We built the site with accessibility in mind, and we are still working on it.

What we have done so far: checked every text and background color pair against the contrast standard, written descriptions for images so screen readers can announce them, made sure links in text are underlined and not marked by color alone, given every button and form field a large enough touch target, added visible outlines when you move through the page with a keyboard, and set the site to respect your device setting if you have asked for reduced motion.

What we know is not right yet

• Some graphics contain text. Sale flyers and seasonal announcements are images with words inside them. Each has a written description, but the text in them cannot be resized or read directly by a screen reader.
• Our FOIA policy page is dense. It reproduces statutory language that we cannot simplify without changing its meaning. We added a plain-English question and answer section above it to help.
• We have not finished testing with assistive technology. Keyboard-only and screen reader testing are not finished yet.
• Older documents. Some PDFs and forms predate this rebuild and may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will get you the content in a format that works.

Helpful things to include, though none are required: the page address, what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and what browser or assistive technology you were using. Even just "the plug sale page will not work for me" is enough to start.

We aim to respond within five business days, the same window we use for records requests.
